With a strong background in design and a zeal for aesthetics, Laura discovered her passion for make-up. Laura was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in design at Washington State University. Further pursuing her love for art and beauty Laura attended the Makeup Designory in Burbank, California.  Laura is now working as a freelance make-up artist in the Los Angeles area focusing on film, television, and editorial projects.​
